Our Client
Our client was an existing self-storage operator with a container facility in an urban setting. The client needed to improve site access and security for customers, whilst keeping the overall solution relatively simple.
The Securus Solution
The client wanted a simple solution with an effective service and maintenance plan to provide ongoing support. We specified a Paxton Net2 solution providing security to the main site entry gate, delivering improved access control for customers and staff. We were able to utilise the existing gates to help mitigate the cost for our client.
Technology Used
The Paxton range is ideal for scenarios such as this and we installed:
- a Paxton Net2 system, with installation to an existing PC;
- proximity keypads linking to the existing wired FAAC gate. Net 2 software added to laptop.
- 20 programmed fobs
We provided a full system set up and commissioning service, including network infrastructure and controllers.
Outcome
Our client’s site remained fully functional whilst the upgraded security was being installed and is now serviced and maintained under aone of our Care Plans. Users of the site are now able to access the site on a 24/7/365 basis using the access control solution installed.
